Bryan Iguchi’s endless pursuit of shred enlightenment has launched Arbor into a new conceptual design dimension. Achieving his vision of ultimate balance—where fun and friendly meets solid and stable—meant rethinking long-held, binary design concepts. By unlocking previously unexplored frontiers and bending space-time, Arbor has fused parabolic rocker with parabolic camber to create its first-of-its-kind dual-parabolic profile. The result is the Astrowaste, a board that delivers a cosmic ride unlike anything previously experienced in the Arbor universe. Its directional and cambered warp-speed design recalibration is engineered with a unique set of System technologies including updated Grip Tech and 3D fenders that are built to explore terrain through a shifted perception and evolved perspective of control, float, and flow. Shaped by science and fueled by imagination, balance is no longer a theory. It’s the Astrowaste.

• Core  -  Real Wood Powerply: Built with natural fiber, wood and bamboo topsheets drive the performance, aesthetic, and ethos that Arbor is known for. Several steps are taken to get a Powerply onto Arbor snowboards responsibly, and in a way that ensures durability and lasting quality.  Highland II Core: A 10/20 Poplar-Paulownia blend delivers reduced weight, improved snap, and enhanced responsiveness underfoot.
• Laminates  -  Mixed Glassing: A triax over biax lay-up that's best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.
• Sidewalls  -  360° Fully Wrapped Sidewalls: Eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
• Base  -  Sintered Base: A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
• Edges  -  Grip Tech: Grip Tech adds heel and toe contact points for enhanced edge control and improved board response.  Fenders: Slight 3D lifts that symmetrically raise the outer contact points off the snow for smoother, more natural turn initiation.
• Topsheet  -  Bio-Plastic Topsheet: One of the materials Arbor uses in the quest to eliminate harmful petroleum based plastics from the production cycle. Made from castor bean oil, this eco-topsheet is extremely durable and water repellent.
• Bio-Resin  -  Bio-Resin is a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn't affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into it are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% when compared to its petroleum based equivalent.
